This overland journey takes us into the heart of Cambodia to explore one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites, the astounding temple complex of Angkor. Our adventure doesn’t end here – we travel through the Indochina countryside to vibrant Bangkok.

What a journey! From Bangkok we head north into the quiet country of Laos, where we embark on a journey down the mighty Mekong River. Vietnam is next, and we travel from the colonial capital, Hanoi, down the beautiful coast to Saigon, stopping off at fishing villages, towns and small cities along the way.

Starting in Bangkok, we travel through Laos, following the Mekong River to the former royal city of Luang Prabang, picturesque Vang Vieng and the sleepy capital of Vientiane. Heading east, we cross into Vietnam and board the northbound train to Hanoi.

This short, adventure-filled holiday explores Cambodia and the amazing temple complex at Angkor, and then continues across the Cambodian-Thai border to vibrant Bangkok.
